Ring Doorbell Pro Chime Buzzing

Voltage at the chime is 16vac.

Ring doorbell pro chime buzzing. No more buzzing 12v at both chimes and button and doorbell button and chimes work again. Was getting 12v out but only 6v at both chimes and ring doorbell. Tap the device health tile. I started by using the 16v 10va transformer that came with the chime.

If it reads good or very good then your ring doorbell is receiving sufficient power and you ll have to find another cause for your issue. Power off replaced the chime power on still buzzing but quieter probably the new chime. Disconnected the ring doorbell and reinstalled old doorbell button. With the video doorbell 2 connected i m seeing 5vac at the ring device.

Make sure mechanical is chosen in the drop down menu and that ring my in home doorbell is selected to on position to the right. I didn t see any reports of this occurring after one year let alone two. Take a look at the voltage reading.
