Suntuf Roof Panels Leaking

About 5 years ago i built a covered porch with half polycarbonate roof panels and half metal panels.

Suntuf roof panels leaking. The manufacturers of polycarbonate recommend silicone for sealing the overlap of the corrugation and for also putting a dollop over the heads of the screws although the special screws do have a built in washer. Rain water does not shed onto the roof panels but instead goes under. Last year it started to leak at one screw so i tightened it and the leak stopped this year there are 6 locations where it is leaking at the screws. I m looking to replace my pergola roof with suntuf poly sheets the original roof butts up against the outside face of the gutter of the house and does not have flashing just has a bead of silicone stopping leaks can i install c channel and foam on the end of the new poly and butt it up against the gutter.

My clear sunturf polycarbonate roof panels over my deck have leaks. Everything is installed per manufacturer s recommendation. Will this be waterproof enough. I love the clear roof panels over my deck that replaced the fiberglass ones that were there but now there are muliple leaks where the panels overlap and also all along where the deck roof meets the house.
